Fight Like a Girl

In continuation of our celebration and support of women in all aspects of their lives, M&T Resources is hosting “Fight Like a Girl”. Following a breakfast buffet, world champion Jiu Jitsu instructors will introduce a variety of self-defence techniques which will be practiced and perfected in a fun and friendly workshop environment.

About Nikki:

Nikki is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Coming off her recent double Gold wins at the Master International Jiu Jitsu IBJJF Championship in Spain, Nikki is delighted to give back to clients, contractors and friends of M&T Resources by delivering this workshop. Nikki is passionate about engaging women of all ages to rise to their full potential whether it be personally or in martial arts. Nikki has a long history of success in Jiu Jitsu, including winning a World Title in the World Masters 2016 in Las Vegas and a Silver medal in the open division beating the World No 1. She was ranked Number 1 in Australia as a Blue Belt in 2013 Masters Gi with AFBJJ. Nikki teaches a female only class at Lange’s MMA on Wednesdays at 5pm in North Manly.

About Andre:

Andre has a Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu. He is understood to be the only Black Belt in Australia who is blind, having been born with congential glaucoma. Andre is completely blind in his left eye and has around 6 percent vision in his right eye. He is passionate about helping others to overcome their own challenges to achieve the benefits that Jiu Jitsu has offered him – including both fitness and self-defence. He is writing a Jiu Jitsu training program for the visually impaired as a way to give back and help others to feel safe and empowered.
