About the role
Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne our client is looking for a talented Business Analyst to join their collaborative team. 
In this role you’ll work closely with Project Managers, Business Owners and delivery teams gathering requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a strong ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly content that supports user experience, ensuring expected outcomes are achieved and to track future impact of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder identification and management
• Work with Stakeholders to capture solution requirements, proposals and perform gap analysis
• Capture current and future state technical processes
• Assist the Project Manager with effective implementation of projects as well as partnering with key stakeholders and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Facilitate workshops and review outcomes, processes and artefacts with Senior stakeholders
• Partner with business users throughout the project lifecycle 
• Contribute to design and maintenance of processes for idea qualification, delivery and benefit tracking for digital & analytics initiatives
• Work with the architecture, development and business teams to iterate on best solutions
• Preparing documentation for prioritisation and endorsement meetings
• Provide support to development and vendor teams, answering any questions to ensure delivery remains on track
• Consulting with business and technology SMEs to resolve queries from the development, testing and training teams.
• Own the requirements management process and be accountable for requirements sign-off and end-to-end traceability for allocated projects.
• Drive UAT test planning and execution activities.

Skills / Behaviours
To be capable of performing this role, you will have:

• Strong senior stakeholder management with excellent written/verbal communications
• Excellent requirements analysis/elicitation/specification/traceability and workshop facilitation experience
• Demonstrated capacity to work on multiple and varied sized initiatives simultaneously and deliver results determined by critical data  

Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Technical Business Analysis roles, preferred Infrastructure, telecommunications, ITSM
• Experience in end-to-end technical process mapping and using documentation tool – MS Word, Visio etc
• Previous experience conducting discovery and scoping activities and documenting outcomes
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence people without direct authority
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present information (both verbally and in writing) in an accurate, compelling and succinct manner as appropriate to the audience
• Experience and skill in prioritising and managing multiple tasks
