Overview:
Join a large federal government department as a Senior Network Engineer to assist the network operations.
  

The Role:

To be suitable for the role, you would ideally have 5 years’ experience in network engineering and managing its security.

Experience with one or more of these technologies would be appreciated: Fortinet, Cisco, Azure Juniper, Cisco, F5, Clearswift, Fortigate, DNS, DHCP, IPAM.

Both written and oral communication skills are important as working with other team members and documentation is an important aspect of the role.

You would ideally have demonstrated strong gateway engineering and technical skills, including experience in developing high level gateway designs. You would also have the ability to articulate technical details through design and implementation plans.

The role is based in Canberra and hybrid working arrangements will be considered.
Candidates holding an active NV1 security clearance or more would be highly regarded.
