“Transforming the Future for Women in ICT” – International Women’s Day Luncheon
To celebrate International Women’s Day in March, M&T Resources’ Melbourne team led by Ken Kwan (Regional Director – Victoria) invited a number of key clients to an exclusive luncheon held at the RACV Club.
Presented by VMware and Females in Technology & Telecom (FiTT), the theme this year was “Transforming the Future for Women in ICT”.
Addressing the issue of gender diversity in the ICT industry, the event featured visionaries from leading technology companies and was facilitated by Susan Sly – Director at CIO Advisory and 2013 iAward recipient of National CIO of the Year. The speakers were:
- Angela Fox – Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand, Dell
- Hilda Clune – Business Transformation Leader & CIO, PwC Australia
- Ken Boal – Vice President, Australia & New Zealand, Cisco
- Linda Hamill – HR Director, Australia, Microsoft
M&T Resources’ guests included clients from Telstra, Energy Australia and Parliament of Victoria. One of our clients, Ellen Entenzon (Telstra – Testing Practice Manager), also walked away with the lucky draw prize of the day – a necklace valued at over $300.
“It was refreshing to hear some interesting programs being run and the luncheon provided some ideas around what M&T can do moving forward, to help promote this industry issue.”
Ken Kwan, Regional Director ‒ Victoria
