About the role:
The Data Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis, supporting system migration activities, and gathering business requirements to help align data and technology solutions with business goals.
The Data & Business Analyst will:

  • Support data migration projects including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
  • Conduct detailed analysis and reporting primarily using Excel (including advanced formulas, Power Query and PivotTables
  •  Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional and technical documentation
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Analyse and translate business needs into technical specifications for data migration projects.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process by performing thorough testing and validation

Key responsibilities:
The role’s duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong data analysis skills (including Excel, Power Query, PivotTables, and data visualization)
  • Solid understanding of data migration and implementation processes
  • Experience with SQL and other data querying languages is highly desirable
  • Experience documenting business processes and translating them into functional requirements
  • Clear and confident communication style, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Comfortable working within Microsoft technology environments

Required skills and experience:     

  • 3+ years’ experience in a data analysis or business analysis role
  • Demonstrated experience in Excel-based data analysis and system/data migration
  • Exposure to ERP or CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other Microsoft-based BI tools is highly desirable
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Excel Expert, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, CBAP, PMI-PBA) are highly regarded
